I previously had th old school video cassette recorder which was still functioning but was low quality when transferred to dvd. So i decided to upgrade to a hd camera. So far it has produced tremendous picture quality. I couldn't be happier. Plus this packaged deal was awesome!! I got a bag hdmi cable and a battery that lasts 10 hours for only 10 more than the price of the camera.
